With over a third of all British adults taking at least 2 holidays per year, Sojourn, through valuable offers, incentives and services will have all the answers to make a dream holiday a reality. 16.3 million UK residents will book overseas holidays and use related travel services during the period between January and April each year.

Published every Saturday with the Times, the Times Magazine voted magazine of the year in 2003, has gained respect as a world-class magazine. Its great success has seen it become an integral part and the essential read of the weekend. Sojourn willbe distributed as an officially endorsed and branded publication with the Times Magazine.

Sojourn will cover specific areas including long haul travel, luxury destinations, cruises, 5 star hotels, sporting breaks and many more. Sojourn will be an exciting guide for all aspects of holiday destinations. From the initial idea to making the decision of where to take your main holiday and all services that go with that, including currency & insurance. With the aid of country by country /market by market guide each participating country will have a minimum of a full page position to promote and, prompt and capture, so getting it right from the start will be simplicity itself.  Sojourn will be 200mm x 146mm in size and compromise of approximately 40 full page colour pages printed to the extremely high production values expected by The Times and their readers.

Each participating company will have a 5mm branding bar at the top of their advertising page this will include The Times logo, the publication name and the your country name and flag, so not only will you have the support of The Times branding, your message will be easy to locate through the use of country destinations and flags as a point of reference and location.

Carrying all the Times branding, Sojourn will be distributed on Saturday 23rd May 2009. Taking a line across the UK at Northampton, Sojourn will be distributed to all Times readers in the South East, South West, Meridian, South Wales and London regions. This will give all participants access to a readership of some 1,600,000.

Sojourn will also be available on-line at www.sojourntimes.com this website will go live on publication date and will remain online until the middle of September 2009. Included on the website there will be a printable PDF version of your advertisement with a link to your website. You will also receive a second page for advertorial purposes, this will consist of 200-300 words plus 2/3 high resolution pictures (all to be supplied by your company). As the online version of Sojourn will be live for a 5 month period you will have the opportunity to change your advertising page on a once a month basis at the beginning of each month. So with your full page in the print version of the publication and assuming you change your advertising page once a month this package delivers to you 7 pages covering print and online over a 5 month period. There will also be a link to and from The Times web site and the Sojourn web site. Please note the advertorial page within the online version of Sojourn must remain the same.
